The Spark: First Finovate London

I landed in London and attended Finovate—a cozy, insider event back then—and instantly fell in love with fintech. This trip reshaped my entire career.

I launched my venture fund SREDA.VC (Life.SREDA VC) and hosted the "Money of the Future" conference in Skolkovo.

Sir Richard Branson headlined, giving a talk and meeting entrepreneurs. Other stars included:

Arival raised £1.8 million ($2.3M) on Crowdcube, smashing its £700,000 goal with a £12 million pre-money valuation.

In 2020, we obtained a U.S. banking license in Puerto Rico.

Meeting with Khodorkovsky

I met Mikhail Khodorkovsky in London to discuss Putin's war on Ukraine and relaunching Navalny Card with Alexey Navalny's Anti-Corruption Foundation (ACF).
